My private practice focuses mainly on short- term contracts. Workplace issues. Work life balance, avoiding “Burn Out”. Working with Couples experiencing a variety of issues.
I have led training courses for Bracknell College in Anxiety and Stress Management, Communication in Relationships, Assertiveness - How to be more Effective in balancing Work/life issues as well as Mid-Life Transition "Embracing Maturity".
I provide clinical supervision for both individuals and groups for long and short- term contracts as well as couple work.
From June 2001 until March 2002 I was a participant in a CORE Study Research Project for an EAP provider looking at the effectiveness of Short Term Work.
In 1999 I presented Professional Development Courses that included Short Term Brief Counselling Theory Models, an integrative approach including psychodynamic and cognitive focused sessions work.
From January 2002 until April 2008 I held the position of Clinical Co-ordinator of Short Term Work at the Berkshire Counselling Centre as well as supervising the clinical work of a number of groups.
By attending numerous workshops/seminars as part of my continuing professional development as required by my Professional Body BACP I have gained a wide understanding of the unique needs of each individual.
As a Member of BACP I adhere to the Organisations Ethical Standards.
The aim of any short-term contract is to help the client find a solution for the presenting problem.
My Therapy rooms have ample parking space and are easily accessible.
